Overview:
Galpão Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse is a renowned national restaurant brand that draws inspiration from the authentic dining heritage of the Brazilian cowboy, known as the Gaucho. Offering guests the authentic rodizio experience, the brand presents an extensive and unlimited array of high-quality meat selections cooked to perfection, complemented by a diverse salad bar, enticing side dishes, delectable desserts, and a curated assortment of cocktail and wine pairings. Established in 2016 in Napa, California, this Brazilian Steakhouse recently marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of its first location in San Diego, CA, in November 2023. This new location marks the brand’s seventh restaurant.
The Task:
As Galpão Gaucho’s national agency of record, Jenerate PR was tasked with creating widespread public awareness for the grand opening VIP media reception and ribbon-cutting ceremony, with the objective of translating event RSVPs into featured stories and increased customer reservations.
Jenerate PR strategically orchestrated a comprehensive public awareness and media relations campaign, leveraging their extensive nationwide media network and results-oriented methodology to boost reservations from a fresh wave of patrons while solidifying their existing loyal fanbase. This dedicated effort has consistently yielded annual growth, further enhanced by exclusive VIP receptions and memorable ribbon-cutting ceremonies. Moreover, Jenerate PR meticulously devised a comprehensive media communication plan, ensuring sustained interest across various platforms before, during, and after the opening.

Strategy:
Jenerate PR devised a dynamic public relations strategy, tailored for optimal media consumption, involving the creation and distribution of communication and press materials. The agency not only offered strategic guidance to the client but also adeptly managed all media opportunities both on- and off-site.
As part of the strategy, a Master Event PR Timeline, Master RSVP List, and Comprehensive Media Distribution List were crafted and managed by the PR team. Among the guests in attendance, Jenerate PR secured individuals from local San Diego media outlets, regional Southern California publications, business and trade platforms, as well as national F&B and travel publications.
To effectively communicate the various facets of the event, Jenerate PR crafted and distributed a range of press materials, including a press release announcing the opening of the San Diego location; follow-up correspondence and media pitches for the Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Invitations, Best Restaurants in San Diego Listing, In-Studio Cooking Demos, and Grand Opening in San Diego assets.
In preparation for interview opportunities, Jenerate PR developed talking points and conducted mock interviews with key spokespersons to ensure the client was well-prepared.
